Theme of the conference: Inquiry of OD Values: appreciating your reality and our world
Your reality stands for the world the participants are coming from. Our world relates to the Japanese culture. The conference theme takes all participants on a journey through the Japanese culture and learning processes. The “Syu, Ha, and Ri” process for instance is an explanation for our learning process. Come and join our unique event.
ODAJ (former ODNJ West) has been running under the OD values for two years which appreciate the safety for speaking out, the difference among diverse opinions in our community, and the creativity from the experimentations and failures. This time we built a ship like the Mayflower and embarked on the way to a new frontier together with 13 founders. Finally we reached a new continent which is the new OD Association in Japan as our promised land.
We are going to show you some reality of our situation in the business sector and communities including earthquake devastated areas and on the cultural sector. We hope many presenters will give us their honest opinions and comments about our situation to further our dialogue. Naturally, dialogue influences both sides; international participants and domestic ones. Reflections with each other will follow as deep points will rise during this dialogue.
Ken Nishikawa and his young team is looking forward to welcoming you in Japan!
