OD for Sustainability: Wisdom, Adaptability, Innovation
The IODA Conference 2026, co-hosted by Assumption University of Thailand, brings together Organization Development practitioners, leaders, scholars, and change agents from around the world to explore how organizations can contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable and regenerative future.
Anchored in the theme OD for Sustainability: Wisdom, Adaptability, Innovation, the conference invites participants to move beyond short-term fixes and efficiency-driven change toward deeper, values-based, and system-aware approaches to organizational life. Over three immersive days, participants will engage in keynotes, concurrent sessions, synthesis dialogues, company visits, and cultural experiences that connect theory with real-world practice, local wisdom, and lived organizational contexts.
The conference unfolds across three interconnected days:
Day 1 | Wisdom
Exploring systems thinking, sustainability versus regeneration, ethical leadership, and reflective practice to ground OD work in long-term thinking and values-driven decision-making.Day 2 | Adaptability & Innovation
Focusing on agility, resilience, inclusion, and innovation, with practical approaches for navigating change, fostering continuous renewal, and creating sustainable impact.Day 3 | Integration & Cultural Immersion
Translating learning into practice through company visits, campus engagement, and cultural experiences that link OD theory with organizational realities and local context.
Across the conference, synthesis sessions support collective sense-making and help participants integrate insights into actionable strategies, while networking and community spaces strengthen connection within the global IODA community.
