IODA Workshop | The Mirror & the Field: Tending the Self in OD Practice

November 22, 2025 @ 20:00 21:30 SMT

The Mirror & the Field: Tending the Self in OD Practice invites OD practitioners to pause and turn their attention inward. As practitioners, who we are shapes how we intervene — our inner landscapes shape the way we see and reflect the systems we serve. Grounded in Gestalt principles, this session creates a reflective space for practitioners to explore the connection between self and system, and how tending to our inner landscape enables us to show up with greater clarity, presence, and intentionality. By polishing the mirror, we bring sharper awareness and cleaner interventions to the field we work in.

Key Takeaways

  • Understand why self-work is essential for clean and impactful OD interventions
  • Explore your inner landscape and how it shapes your presence and practice in the field
  • Experience simple Gestalt-based practices to deepen awareness and sustain your growth as a practitioner

About the Facilitator

Lyn Wong is a Singapore-based Gestalt-informed organizational development practitioner, facilitator, and coach who is deeply passionate about enabling the thriving growth of individuals, teams, and organisations. She brings a deep belief that who we are shapes how we work with systems, adopting a systemic lens to help clients align, engage, and integrate their systems for sustainable change. Drawing on her multi-disciplinary background in OD, leadership development, group process work, coaching and change work, she creates reflective and generative spaces where practitioners and organisations can deepen awareness, surface patterns, and engage more intentionally with their work.
