IODA CONFERENCE – CHILE – NOVEMBER 7, 8 & 9, 2019

We would like to invite all of the IODA International members to the IODA Conference Chile to be held in Viña del Mar which is the tourism capital of the country. The garden city has beautiful vegetation and eight miles of coast and beaches to enjoy the summer time. Some of its attractions are Quinta Vergara, Sausalito Lagoon, the Sporting Club and the Botanical Garden, with many tourist and urban services. With a colorful architecture, the city holds the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar, every February.

Your trip from Santiago de Viña del Mar (approx. 1,5 hrs. ) will allow you to pass through some of the famous wine producing regions of Chile and enjoy the views of the Andean  mountains, so stopping for a glass of Carmenere is a  must!

Our event will be held in the historic Hotel O’Higgins famous for hosting the Gala Dinner at the beginning of the International Song Festival. Take part in our Gala dinner and enjoy local seafood and wine.

Under the umbrella of our theme “Inclusion, Diversity and Trust trends and practices for the organizations of today.” we are pleased to inform the IODA community of our conference speakers who include:

The Chilean Conference will be no exception.

We have designed several spaces for workshops, table talks, Open spaces, silent reflection and these all include a variety of specialists from the World of OD coming from all over the world who will be sharing their experience of inclusion ranging from a variety of settings like Silicon Valley, local Copper Mines to The Indian Railway Company. There is also the opportunity to try new methodologies and share your own experience in these smaller breakout sessions.

Our Large Group Facilitators talks on the 9th of February are specially designed to give a wealth and range of activities to allow us all to experiment out levels of Trust with a wide choice of different contexts to select from:  including, dance, improve theatre, sport, meditation, ritual and many more.

Our visits to organizations will give you firsthand experience of the local organizations in the region and the way we face and develop our collaborators.
