Elections for two Vice President Positions
We as a global organization that needs to continue to function and become even more high impact in these challenging times decided to go ahead with the announced elections.
This year IODA will be holding elections for two vice presidential positions:
The elected term of Mohanakrishnan Raman from India and Claudia Raffo from Chile has reached its end. We thank both of them for their support and service for IODA.
The purpose of these two positions is to create and execute strategy, with the support of volunteers focusing on strengthening IODA as an organization, energizing community engagement, and building relationships and collaboration with other organizations and institutions in service of IODA’s purpose of co-creating the global OD community.
Both positions have a three year term of office starting after the results have been announced. The installation of the position will be celebrated during the next annual IODA conference.

Election process
Members will have the opportunity to nominate themselves or recommend another IODA member. Nominations close on April 20, 2020.
Elections will be held from April 30 – May 17, 2020.
Who is eligible for nomination?
To be eligible for nomination, nominees need to have paid their membership dues within the last 365 days. The reference day for counting back 365 days will be the date you will submit the nomination letter, photographs and two nominations by – preferable – other IODA members.

Required documents for candidates
- Nomination form, please download HERE and submit before April 20, 2020.
If you are recommending another IODA member please get his/her approval beforehand.
All those nominated persons must also supply the following documents:
- Two recommendations from – preferable – other IODA members
- A presentation letter including
– A digital photo and a short CV
– Outline why you wish to serve
– Your vision for IODA
– Any other infos you would like to include promoting your candidacy.
This letter, your CV and the recommendations will be e-mailed to all IODA members by the Election Committee. Please submit until April 24, 2020.
