The Camino Real Polanco Mexico is a renowned 5-star hotel in the exclusive Polanco area. It is located in the residential and commercial area of Anzures, making it a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Originally built for the 1968 Olympic Games, this hotel has an attractive Mexican-modern architectural style, designed by renowned architect Ricardo Legorreta. It is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty, functionality and distinctive color scheme, along with pieces by world-class artists inside and outside the property.

If you wish to stay at the Camino Real during the conference, we have negotiated an advantageous rate with the hotel. Please book quickly as there are only 25 rooms available at the following rate:
EUROPEAN RATE (without meals):
Deluxe Room – Single or Double
$2,700 MXN or $158 USD (exchange rate as of January 24th, 2024)
– Rate subject to Federal taxes (VAT 16% and ISH 3.5%)
– Includes complimentary 5MB internet access for guests
– Two 355ml bottles of water per stay.
– The rate quoted is per room per night, for one or two persons.
– Extra person, $50 usd plus tax, per night, in EP plan (without meals).
– This rate is quoted for stays between the 30th September and 7th October.

IODA members will be received by the Host Committee at the airport upon arrival and will be provided transport to their hotel.

Near the hotel you can find the Bosque de Chapultepec, Mexico City’s most important park where you can enjoy all kinds of activities. Other nearby attractions include: the Torre Mayor skyscraper, the Estela de Luz Monument and Chapultepec Castle, to name just a few. Art and culture enthusiasts appreciate the abundance of options that include the Rufino Tamayo Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the National Museum of Anthropology. The Palacio de Bellas Artes Museum is 8 km away, and Mexico City’s Zocalo Square is also just 6 km away.
