SUMMARY:IODA World Café (Members only) | Session 2: Responsibility for Professional Development & Competence
DESCRIPTION:IODA constantly strives to encourage the development of students\, professionals and other persons interested in OD and related interdisciplinary fields. We hope this new World Café series will continue to educate professionals through international OD practices and encourage converse exchanges that enhance and edify the advancement of human beings in all parts of the world. All materials created in the series will be shared in IODA’s digital library for members to use. \n\n\n\nThe 2024 IODA World Café series will encompass Dr. Bill Gellerman’s professional development guidelines for OD Code of Ethics. At its core\, we will share with our members the three tenets of the framework: 1) To increase professional and ethical consciousness among OD Professionals and their sense of ethical responsibilities\, 2) To guide OD Professional in making more informed ethical choices\, 3) To help the OD Profession itself function at the fullness of its potential. \n\n\n\nAfter a very successful first session on Responsibility to Self on January 27th\, the topic of session 2 will be Responsibility for Professional Development & Competence.
