About the webinar
What we see/hear, or don’t see/hear, is tempered by our values, life experiences, judgements, biases, and perceptions. How you interpret events, dictates your conclusions and behaviors. Your conclusions and paradigms proceed your advice and recommendations. What you know and do best limits you. Being aware of your biases, values, thinking and emotional patterns increase your awareness of self and increases your openness to other viewpoints and unbiased recommendations.
Your emotions are a great sensing mechanism, that can be used to gauge the organization’s climate, relationships, trust levels, safety and other factors that affect organizational performance. Being aware of your own reactions is in itself a diagnostic capability that can be used to help the client improve.
This will be a highly interactive workshop which will focus on the use of self, biases (perceptions) values and emotional sensitivity. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to hear first-hand from the authors of the book “OD for the Accidental Practitioner”.
This webinar will be free for IODA members to attend and $25 for non-members.
