Suzanne Zaldivar

CONDOLENCE AND APPRECIATION

On behalf of the International Organisation Development Association we would like to send our deepest condolences to the Zaldivar family, and express both our heartfelt sense of loss and our gratitude for Suzanne’s exceptional contribution to our organisation as President of the Association from 2016 to 2018.

Suzanne first got to know the global community of IODA at the 2012 conference in the small town of Namaacha in Mozambique.  Those of us who were there were immediately struck by her courage, her joy for life and delightful laughter. We also soon discovered that Suzanne, like many other IODA community members, took delight in dancing like no-one was watching!  We knew she had found her global family.

In her time  as IODA President, Suzanne brought her commitment to connecting people across the world, her insight, empathy and humour to everything she did.

We will greatly miss her, but we know her legacy will live on in each one of us.
